Poker Gives was founded by poker
industry professionals Mike Sexton, Linda Johnson, Jan
Fisher, and Lisa Tenner as a way for the poker world to
"Give Back" to worthwhile charity organizations. The goal is
to raise funds through poker events and donate it to four
mainstream charities that are near and dear to their hearts.
No Board Members or Founding Members will receive a salary
in the expectation that a minimum of 95% of all funds raised
will reach the charities. All efforts will be made to keep
the administrative costs and expenses to a minimum. Poker Gives
charities of choice are:

The Intrepid Fallen
Heroes Fund supports the men and women of the Armed
Forces and their families who were lost in service
to our nation, and for severely wounded military
personnel and veterans. |
Through sports training
and competition, Special Olympics empowers
individuals with intellectual disabilities in more
than 180 countries. Transforming the athlete, sports
are a gateway to empowerment, competence, acceptance
and joy. |

America works to maximize the quality of life for
its members as a leading advocate for health care,
SCI/D research and education, veteran's benefits and
veteran's rights. |
We work to enhance the lives of
underprivileged children by creating and supporting,
health, nutrition, water, education and other
programs that substantially impact the human rights
and development of children worldwide. |
