Since its inception Poker Gives has provided funds to many charities. Some of those charities are: Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Special Olympics Nevada, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Step by Step Foundation, Fallen Heroes USA, Three Square, Sunflower Children, American Cancer Society and the Nevada Cancer Institute. We have selected the following charities to receive donation:
Alliance for a Healthier Generation - reduces childhood obesity and empowers kids nationwide to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Bad Beat on Cancer - helps fund cancer prevention research and education.
Children, Inc. - provides resources for children in need in the United States and abroad , because we passionately believe that children everywhere deserve education, hope, and opportunity.
The Hayden Scholarship Foundation - provides educational opportunities for less fortunate students, so that they might make the world a better place.
Make a Wish Foundation - enriches the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
The Problem Gambling Center - provides evaluation and counseling services to persons who have gambling problems and the family and friends of our clients who are affected by gambling without regard of their ability to pay.
Shriners - improves the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals.
Three Square
- provides wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing
